Hello!
At Grace & Honey, every design begins with intention and a very personal story behind it. My name is Laura Mae, and I’m the designer and heart behind this shop. I also run my own graphic design business under my name, Laura Mae, where I work with clients on branding, illustration, and creative direction. Grace & Honey is a more personal extension of that work—where I get to design freely, explore inspiration, and create pieces that reflect faith, beauty, and everyday encouragement.
What started as a love for art, color, and meaningful design has grown into something much deeper for me. I’ve always been drawn to creating—sketching, typography, and building visuals where small details change everything. Over time, I realized I didn’t just want to make things that looked good, but things that carried meaning. Grace & Honey became the space where that could live.
Now, as a graphic designer based in Alaska, my surroundings naturally shape my creative process. There’s a quietness here—wide skies, stillness, and simplicity—that influences my work. I tend to lean toward soft colors, clean layouts, and gentle textures that feel peaceful and intentional.
Every design in Grace & Honey is personally created by me, Laura Mae, with care and attention to detail. I think about how each piece will be used in everyday life—how it might be worn, displayed, or given as a gift. Nothing is rushed; each design is made with intention, prayer, and purpose.
Some designs are inspired directly by Scripture, while others reflect themes of grace, truth, joy, and beauty. Not every piece includes a verse, but every piece comes from a foundation of faith. My goal is to create in a way that is honest, simple, and meaningful.
I also care about how things are made. Each item is produced through a trusted print-on-demand partner, which allows products to be made only when ordered. This reduces waste and lets me focus fully on designing through my business, Laura Mae, and creating thoughtfully for Grace & Honey.
Through my Laura Mae design business, I work on branding and creative projects, and Grace & Honey is where I explore a more personal, faith-driven side of design. Both are rooted in creativity, intention, and meaningful work.
At its core, Grace & Honey is not just a shop—it’s a reflection of what I value. I believe beauty is found in peace, simplicity, truth, and in small reminders of something greater than ourselves. My faith in Christ is central to everything I create and naturally flows into my work.
My hope is that each piece feels personal and thoughtful—not just a product, but something that quietly brings warmth, encouragement, and meaning into everyday life.
